T-K~
Jenifer Reynolds has been teaching for seven years now. I earned my B.A. emphasis in Child Development in 2001 and then gained a multiple teaching credential in 2003 at California State San Marcos. I worked as a substitute for three years in a diverse affluent school district and then moved to D.C. to teach PreK4 and Kindergarten in a D.C. public school on Capitol Hill. Even though my sister lives there in D.C. (I miss her!), I wanted to come back to California to teach in a Lutheran school. I love to paint abstract works and hike trails wherever I can. In the past, I have also been a caregiver and preschool teacher for children at an emergency shelter in North County San Diego, CA. ages 0-5 years. These children needed love, security and consistency in their chaotic lives and this organization gave it to them! Please ask me about it. Currently, I am a member of Faith Lutheran Church and enjoy singing and attending a group bible study. My goal is to get my masters in Education in the next few years as well as get colloquised. I would also like to continue as an Ambassador for Faith Lutheran.

5th and 6th Grade~
Mrs. Schumann teaches our 5th
grade. She is a mother of three children; a
7th, 5th, and 3rd grader. Teaching has
become her passion. She believe in teaching
the whole child. By this she is referring to
the different nature of how children learn
and giving them opportunities to express
them in ways they understand individually.
She has a Masters in Education, specializing
in cross-cultural teaching. She belongs to
the Society of Children’s Book Writers and
Illustrators (SCBWI) and of Placer Area
Reading Council (PARC). She is also versed
in implementing Education through Music
(ETM), a program that increases both spatial
awareness and sequential thinking. She is an
educator who strives to make a positive
difference in the life of a child. Through
creativity, providing challenges, and
emulating excellence within a loving
