FAQ's
How do I enroll my child in your school?
Faith Lutheran School Enrollment applications may be
turned in ANYTIME after February 1st for the next school
year. You can enroll your child into our school at
anytime during the school year. It is your right to
transfer your child into any school at anytime. If enrolling into kindergarten, your child must be
five years old by December 2nd of that year to be
eligible, and six years old by December 2nd to be
eligible for 1st grade. If your child is not going to be
5 by the eligible time you can enroll your child into
our T-K program or our day preschool.
What does it cost?
Our tuition fees
are as follows:
Preschool -
ranges from $156 (2 days per week) to
$590 (full time Day Care 7am to 6pm, M-F)
Transitional Kindergarten -
$3,400 per year, per
child.
Grades K-6th -
$4,850 per year, per child.
Do you offer a discount for
multiple children who enroll from one family?
Yes, we offer a 20%
discount for additional family members. The cost for a
second student enrolling in K-5 would be
$3,880 per year.
We also offer a family referral discount that is quite
substantial. Refer a family and if they enroll and
keep their child in our school for a specified amount of
time that school year, you will receive a discount off
of your tuition!
Why do you only go to 6th
grade?
At Faith Lutheran we have
always followed where God has led us. Having cut down
on our school size years prior, Faith has now decided to
increase its grade size by adding one additional grade
each year. By doing so, our school remains smaller in
size and allows prior grades to continue to grow with
us.

Do you take field trips with the
kids?
Yes, we take many field
trips throughout the school year and often ask for
parent participation. We enjoy a myriad of places
including exhibits, museums, historical points of
interest, and fun events. We also have many events and
individuals come to our school to educate and entertain
the children.

Do you have to attend Faith
Lutheran Church or be of Lutheran denomination in order
to enroll in your School?
No, Faith Lutheran considers admission of all
prospective students regardless of creed or religion.
However, if your child is involved in a performance or
function during worship service he/she is required to be
present. We of course would love for you to come and
fellowship with us, but it is certainly not a
requirement of school attendance. We do hope you are
involved in fellowship within the Christian community at
another Church home. If you are not, we welcome you to
join us at anytime. We believe walking in faith is vital
to a strong foundation of morals and character.
Do you offer summer school?
Summer school is decided on a year by year bases. If
you are interested in having your child attend a summer
school program at Faith Lutheran Please let the school
office know.
What is your grading system? Do you give report
cards?
Faith Lutheran School has
a report card based education system. Our report cards
are given out at each trimester. We grade on a number
scale system for the lower grades and a letter grading
system for the upper grades. We also provide progress reports halfway
through each trimester to help you get a better
understanding of where your child is at both
academically and citizenship wise.

What is Transitional Kindergarten?
Transitional Kindergarten is a bridge between
preschool and kindergarten. It’s designed for the 4 year
old or young five year old child who’s been in preschool,
yet is not ready for extended teacher directed lessons
and a longer school day. Some children need more time to
develop socially or academically. The curriculum
incorporates activities in a classroom setting that
increase academic skills, self confidence and ease in
social relations.
Do you have payment plans
available?
Yes we do offer
payment plan schedules. This is done case by case and
will need to be handled through an administrator. Please
contact the office for further details.
All students are
required to have at least one solid white polo or dress
shirt and at least one navy blue sweatshirt with the
school logo. School logo shirts are also available for
purchase (see parents handbook for further details). All
shoes must be closed toe, and all skirts must be of
decent length and shorts must be worn underneath at all
times. Undershirts may be worn but
are
not permitted with any visible writing. (see parents
handbook for further details).
Our school is fully accredited by both the
Western Association of Schools and
