About FLS
 Our Campus:
Founded in 1955 Faith Lutheran School has
continued its mission to promote academic competence and
Christian character. Our school is nestled on a
beautiful campus in Fair Oaks, located at the corner of
San Juan Avenue and Fair Oaks Blvd. Get to know our

Faith and School Philosophy:
The school offers a quality
Christ-centered educational program in a loving and safe
environment. Our program challenges the children to
discover, use, and fully develop their individual
talents and spiritual gifts. Faith Lutheran Church and
School wants everyone to know the love of our Savior,
Jesus Christ. We teach Bible study and stress the
understanding of the Law and Gospel in the way we
conduct our program. The school has a vital mission to
show the Gospel to our students and to the larger
community.
Our Curriculum:
Faith Lutheran
School uses the
Core Knowledge
curriculum. This foundational way of learning promotes
education through building new knowledge upon
information the child already knows and comprehends. To

specific knowledge that builds year by year.
Our Teachers:
At Faith Lutheran your
child will receive hands on training with teachers that
are specifically trained in his or her grade level. Our
classroom sizes are kept small to provide the one on one
training needed for exceptional education. Our grade
school teachers are credentialed and up to date with any
and all training necessary to give your child the best
education possible. Our school is fully accredited by
both the
Western Association of Schools and
Colleges as well as
the
National Lutheran Schools Association.
Our Disciplinary Actions:
Developing teacher-student relationships requires care
and respect for authority. We have a zero tolerance
for threats or violent behavior, sexual harassment, and
drug/substance abuse. With God's word as
our foundation, we work constantly toward developing in
all of our students, responsibility, cooperation,
honesty, reliability, and self discipline.
